Where are you located? We had some caught here in the Chesapeake Bay last year which is batsh** crazy. Hoping to catch one this year. I am told the are aka the best eating fish.

I don’t know if my latch and insulation is original or not. I know it’s well built. I’m 280lbs and stand on it all the time to sight cast and have never had a problem.

Sounds just like my 85. There’s an aluminum lip to “support” the box when closed and 2 blocks of wood on the floor to keep it from sliding but that’s it. No seals, locks...nothing. Seems to work fine...
