Default What’s it worth

Finally gave up putting money into my v20 and will be putting her up for sale soon. It will be considered a project boat.

1990 center console. One soft spot right behind the console. Upholstery would need redone. Transom seems solid, I’m sure it probably has some moisture but the I can bounce on the motor with no flex and the screw holes from the transducer were dry. Some of the original hatch covers are missing. They have plywood covers I cut on it right now.

1982 merc 200. Motor still runs but has very low compression on 1 cylinder. All the rest are still in spec and it’s been a freshwater motor it’s whole life. May or may not be worth fixing.

1996 single axle roller trailer in good shape.

I was thinking of asking $1000 for the whole thing. Does this seem to be in the ballpark? If not what do you think?

Good, too far away

I will say, the center consoles hold their value more so than the cuddys down here. I would maybe try to move the motor on Scream and Fly and sell the hull trailer combo as is

I would think the switch boxes, stator, carbs, and lower unit has some value.

I m sure it wont last long at 1000

Shouldn’t be hard to get $1000 out of her. It’d sell quick here in Va. Like so fast that if you were here I’d have it already.

I considered pulling the motor and selling how you suggested but I really don’t feel like dealing with it.

Once I figure out the title issue I have with the motor I’ll put it on this site for 1k if anyone here wants it, try to get a little more out of it on other platforms

I could easily get that thing brought down here, just park it beside the road and put a sign on it that says free use of moving trailer to get you to SC, you would have people lined up to haul their stuff down here

I would be interested, but only for the Merc parts. I have the same engine. Mine is a 1980. Runs good, but difficult to start.

I really don't have a lot of interest in the boat or trailer. So, I would most likely re-post for sale on this site.

Metro Detroit here. I plan on keeping my V20 cuddy at Toledo Beach Marina on Lake Erie this year.
