Home Depot has the tuff board. It works great...

Home Depot has the tuff board. It works great for these type of applications. There is no heavy load on those boxes. The teak makes it very strong also.

Completed the other side today after work....

Under gunnel rod boxes

My plastic liners for the rods were cracked and crumbling apart. So I decide to build new ones. I trimmed off the edges of the old liner, and used the back. Then I made a box out of PVC tuff board....
