Default New Prop...

Here's my buddy's new 17p 4-blader from Power Tec Props...started w/ Mirage 3-blade, then PT 4-blade x 18p, but this one looks like the one...numbers great and no issues


After we changed the prop, while testin' I took this...would you raise/lower the motor on this boat?...

Isn't that plate supposed to be below water on plane, isn't the water pickup below that?

Depends on the numbers??

When I trim out the motor at WOT I can get mine looking like that also, and thats when its at its fastest! ;)

I'd bet that with that 4 blade prop you could go up at least one hole without loosing any bite. Only way to find out is do it...

Slot, I think you're right...when he 1st got this boat, motor was UP two notches from where pictured...had slight ''rumble'' at certain rpms, so they dropped the two holes...that was w/ 3-blader...now w/ 4-blader and ''rumble'' gone, I believe it should go back up the two holes... :) ...
