We have run planers with release clips, but not two rods. We run the planers on 300# mono and cleat them off. Old tuna fishing trick that works well.

We have run planers with release clips, but not two rods. We run the planers on 300# mono and cleat them off. Old tuna fishing trick that works well.

I have downriggers and all kinds of fancy planers but none of them will get real deep...Frank

What size Braid are you using to jig with and how many oz??

What size braided you guys using to troll with. I just was at the tackle shop and they carried up to 80 lb, available up to 150lb but have to order it. I would like to use the lightest I can but still get the depth. thanks
