schicks, I just got through *doing a complete re-wire on my 84 cuddy. it wasn't that bad. *I ended up putting the fuse block on the roof of the cabin instead of behind the dash. *If I needed to get to a fuse the gauges were in the way. *I mounted it on a piece of starboard just forward of the cut-out. *I am havin a new snap curtain made that is longer and will hide the fuse block. *The extention cord is ok, just solder the connections. *I used tinned #12 for the runs to the bilge pump, bilge pump light, live well, & fresh water washdown (17 feet from the dash to *center of the transom). *I went to a tool fair and bought a whole assortmnt of *wire terminals for about 10 bucks. *I pulled the plastic sleeve off, crimped & heat shrinked *them. *I hope that dosen't haunt me later. *Good Luck..
