Dealer would probably be interested in selling the boat minus the trailer. Decent used trailers are hard to come and most dealers have no trouble finding a home for them. Reels right though, wouldnt your V sell quicker with a trailer. Even if your V is beyond repair, sit it on the trailer and make it a condition of the sale that whoever buys the trailer must take the boat. That way you won't have to pay to get rid of it.

It was a heartbreaker *:-[ The boat looks pretty (minus a few cosmitics), but once I climbed it was obvious the floor was done. The first sign of trouble was when I saw someone had cut a section of the deck out behind the fuel tank that was about three feet wide and two feet long. The reason I noticed it so quick was whoever did it didn't glass it back in. There may have been an attempt to caulk around the cut, but most of that is gone. Just about the entire back half of the cockpit is soft. The front half felt solid, but when I bounced in it I felt like the deck wasn't attached to the stringer because I could feel the floor hitting something. All in all it's a real shame. It might be good for someone who wants to replace an entire deck, but that's not me. The owner must be on crack if he thinks someone will give him anything close to 11,300 in the shape it's in. *The story isn't quite over though. I guess the guy who runs the place was out when I stopped by so I left my number (with my comments on the boat) with the lady who was working the desk. We'll see if I get a call... To be continued....

Hey, offer him $6-7k and pay somebody to replace the deck.

Jeff any other signs of a sinking, full or partial? Wires corroded etc.

Trying to think what else would have caused a newer V to need the floor cut out and obviously some work done under it. We got boats from the 70's here with solid floors ???

I looked at this one too, just before going to look at the 21 we bought. The floor is unbelievable in that thing...and for $11,000!!!??? :o :o Not sure where all that softness came from. The 21 we bought does have a small softness in the rear of the deck, but after seeing that one at Miller's it made me feel a lot better. I think mine is an easy fix, whereas that one definitely needs major deck removal. But even on mine I can't figure out where moisture exactly went in, I am resealing all deck plates, floor drains, and the brackets that hold the rear bench seat in. But Willy is right...there are 30 year old boats with solid floors, why mid 90's are so soft is a mystery. Good luck in your search! ;D ;D

I don't have any softness in my 11 year old deck. I hope it stays that way!

Pretty wild man. I don't know that I trust that seller after reading his ad with no mention of a soft floor. Try to buy that enclosure off him and run run run away as fast as you can!
