Looks like I'm going to scrap my project after all and just bite the bullet on a V I can splash and go with. I found this today and I'm going to take a look at her tomorrow http://www.millermarineboatsales.com...arineboatsales

If all works out I may have a bunch of stuff off the old V as well as the stuff I built to take the old V apart with to get rid of.

If she's sound and solid, make em an offer. I bet you can get her for 10K? You'd also achieve instant D A W G status by picking up a '21, right REEL ;D

Damm, another V-21. She looks sweet. If you ca afford her, grab her. You can sell the parts of your old V here. Windshield and hatch at least. ;)

nice V!!..but definetly dont pay his full price that guy will go down on price...i've talked to him a few times...most of his boats are consignment or if not he got them cheap...

Thanks for the advise Kajun. I was planning on offering 9 provided the boat checks out ok, but I think I'll start a little lower. Do you think he might be willing to sell the boat without the trailer? I still have my nice and shiney tandom axle trailer and don't want the single axle trailer it comes with.

We in the trade call it "Insty-DAWG" ;) ...and yup, he gets it soon as he writes the check...lotta good advice above...I think yer in the ballpark at 9, but like BR says, start at 8, but whatever he agrees to, be sure it's contingent on a good Marine Tech (OMC is best) goin' over that motor and OKin' all...compression test, lower-unit, etc, etc...good luck and keep us posted...that looks like a NICE boat, but don't "fall in love " w/it til AFTER ya buy it ;) ...


...and won't yer other "V" sell quicker w/that trailer under it ;) ...
