Default Transom Trim

When I replace my motor I'd like to replace the cap of the transom. *Has any one replace theirs and if so with what? *Thanks Billy Mac

Here's a photo of what I'd like to replace.

I don't have that piece but most are made from angle alum.
But you will not be able to duplcate the curve like that, you will have to piece it or cut it to bend it.
Whats wrong with the one you have?? Can't see any damage from the poic you showed?

If I were to remove my trim, I'd get some 4" tape (glass) and some epoxy. Remove the trim, sand the area, a lay up a few layers with the glass tape. That way the the seam is sealed better to water. Before starting I'd tape off the area in a straight line, then paint when finished.
