Yeah, that's the way, i just forgot to buy the finishing washers, i think i'll go withuot the and see how it looks.

I looked last night and had four screws across top and bottom, none middle ends like I thought. Cleanup, hmmm, wet paper towel I think.

Another way to ''clean up" excess silicone is don't clean it up at all...wait for it to cure and slice away w/ a razor...less of a mess... ;) :D ...

I had to do some very minor trimming and the cost was about $180 for the pair from FPmarine about two year ago. I'll see if I can find the link.

i have the fp marine sight but the ones on his sight recommended for the v20 are not square (rectangular). they look like i need to do alot of cutting.
