HEY GUYS!!!!

I JUST RECEIVED MY NEW ROD BOXES FROM FP MARINE, THEY LOOK AWESOME!!!

FOR YOU GUYS THAT HAVE REPLACED THEM, WHAT KIND OF SCREWS DID YOU USED? HOW MANY? DID YOU USE SILICON ADHESIVE?

I think that I used four across the top and bottom and one center each end for a total of 10 each side. I want to say that they were #8 x 3/4, maybe #10, and I used GE Silicone II for the sealant.

THANKS!!!!! I'LL DEFINETLY USE SILICONE AS A BACK UP.
WHAT'D YOU USE FOR CLEANING THE EXCESS SILICONE?

I looked last night and had four screws across top and bottom, none middle ends like I thought. Cleanup, hmmm, wet paper towel I think.

Another way to ''clean up" excess silicone is don't clean it up at all...wait for it to cure and slice away w/ a razor...less of a mess... ;) :D ...

Let's see some pics of those new boxes goin' in... ;D ...
