Tin - Look into a 20ft Seacraft CC. There are several used 20's in that price range with newer four storkes.

I know you're not crazy about the 14* deadrise, but I've been on one of these powered by a F115 Yammi. Not a rough ride considering the deadrise and very economical. Lots of room. Flyfishing friendly. Depending on power options, might be just a tad more than the $18k though. I think from $20-25k? ??? Not sure.
