hey BOM, when I had my I/O I purchased a flush kit from perko that fits into the raw water intake hose - the benefit is you can flush it pierside - I used to rent a slip during striper season - and you don't have to use the muffs.

Lake is 10 min. from my house. I go straight there from the beach and drop the boat in for a nice ride. This is much easier (and more fun) than using muffs. Plus its a great excuse to kill a couple cold ones :D

i've got one of those weed sprayers hooked up with my muffs and put in an ounce or 2 dishwashing detergent.

Have a good friend that runs dish detergent in his 115 Yami 4 stroker. He pours the dish detergent into the water hose, then hooks up muffs and turns on the water.
