Smokey...a trick an OMC tech told me...when idling/trolling, TILT the motor up some so back of cylinders are ABOVE level...this will keep unburned oil from accumulating in the "top" (end w/the plug) of the cylinder and fouling the plug...worked for me for years...hope it works for ya!... ;)...
