Should I point out that there does NOT have to be a successful coup in order for there to be a chargeable crime?

My obvious point being that no charge means there was NO attempt, because you know that if they thought, for even a second, that they could make a charge of insurrection they would have, just to make an example.

So maybe you should stop calling it an insurrection attempt and call it what it really was... a very mild disturbance by an unruly mob.
