Hmm... I wonder why he texted Meadows instead of his own father? You would think that if it were really urgent he would have called his dad instead of texting someone else.

Even Fox News reporters TRIED to get Trump to make statement to tell the violent insurrectionist to STOP . But - Trump wouldn’t - and didn’t for approx 1-1/2 hours as this went on - with our Vice President and others in grave danger .

I’m not inclined to trust the NYT for honest, unbiased reporting and I’m definitely not going to be coerced by them to sign up for a subscription. Too bad they require that - I would have read the article.

So, explain to me how Don jr or Fox texting Meadows is somehow bad? They recognized that the situation was getting out of hand and sent messages to Meadows to ask/tell the President to say something. Where is the illegality in that?

Despite these attempts to get trump to tell his rioters to stop - he wouldn’t do so for at least 1-1-1/2 hours as people from his son to Fox News pleaded with Meadows to get trump to stand up .
