Charlie, it's that time of the year when people are selling their boats. The one you're looking at has way too many potential major things wrong with it... like the transom delamination for instance. Only reason for that is water intrusion. It *might be tiny, or it *might mean a transom replacement. Just my opinion, but I think you should keep looking. More boats will be coming up for sale now as the weather turns.

Yeah, I’m looking in overdrive. I just really like the hull design and man, that motor lit up and ran like a sewing machine. It needs a sh!t ton of miscellaneous, but the water intrusion, believe it or not didn’t scare me away. Main reason, she’s gonna live out her life on a trailer. I gave the transom a good bounce and with my 275 pound bulk, it was pretty solid. A lot of guys don’t want to spend the dough to winterize, wrap and store, but they still think they have gold. I’m turning my focus to MAKO in the 20-23 range. I don’t mind if it’s a little beat up as long as I can find good, solid power. I have a couple in my sights right now. I’ll even take a clean hull, if I can get it cheap enough.
