Scott, we are on the east side, spring time we launch out of the gleason ramp, come fall we like to launch at chinook and run up to the mouth of the sandy. So far we have anchored a few times and it is not terribly difficult, just slide the hatches all of the way foreward. I can lay on the bow, release the anchor, then drop back to the helm area and let the anchor go. We have about a 15ft tail that hangs back in the cabin and if we need to drop out just tug on the rope to get it off the cleat and away we go. Definately open to suggestions to make it simpler.
