Isnt a rotary a "no cylinder"?


The pic is from a 26 bertram that has two of these installed. The are connected to mercruiser drives. This guy selected these motors over standard 6 cyl i/o power.

They have a real small footprint from what I can tell from the pics.

Stinky, I'm pretty sure Verados aren't rotary... ;) ;D...F1, you're right...rotary engines don't have "cylinders" as such...3 lobe void w/ a curved-edge triangle spins a drive shaft as it spins thru fire/exhaust/compression cycle...something like that...AKA Wankle engine...

Stinky, just dawned on me you could have been refering to CB's post above...sorry... :P...

Alright. If we can design one that runs on Hydrogen like those New zeland boys have, then I'm in. Then we would have to set up a net work of places to buy the hydrogen like Boatersworld or west marine then we can retire in the keys with a V35.
