Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
hmmmm..................supercharged four cylinder
|
Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
Isnt a rotary a "no cylinder"?
The pic is from a 26 bertram that has two of these installed. The are connected to mercruiser drives. This guy selected these motors over standard 6 cyl i/o power. They have a real small footprint from what I can tell from the pics. |
Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
And they run really smooooooooooooth!
|
Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
The supercharged version already exists...can someone say...VERADO? ;D
|
Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
Stinky, I'm pretty sure Verados aren't rotary... ;) ;D...F1, you're right...rotary engines don't have "cylinders" as such...3 lobe void w/ a curved-edge triangle spins a drive shaft as it spins thru fire/exhaust/compression cycle...something like that...AKA Wankle engine...
Stinky, just dawned on me you could have been refering to CB's post above...sorry... :P... |
Re: Who is gonna be the first to put one of these
Alright. If we can design one that runs on Hydrogen like those New zeland boys have, then I'm in. Then we would have to set up a net work of places to buy the hydrogen like Boatersworld or west marine then we can retire in the keys with a V35.
