I charge 5 hours($90 per) for a transom plate overhaul( bellows, water tube, gimbal bearing, shift cable, shift cable boot, check alignment, etc.) I add one one hour for replacing he senders while I'm at it(by itself, its a 3 hour job per merc flat rate). Going with oem stuff, you can easily end up with $500 in parts. I'm cheaper than the dealers. Water pump is 2 hours by itself, I'd throw it in for one hour with the job($35-$100 parts depending on what it needs). I don't rebuild trim cylinders, between the salt corrosion(takes a lot of work to get them apart) and the high price of the merc rebuild kits, I just replace them. If you are in fresh water, they may be worth saving. And yes, on a good day I can do it far faster than that, but most will take at least that amount of time, and most charge more
