If you're looking to fish the CBBT or any part of the bay in Virginia, our trophy season starts May 1 and the regular bay season is May 15 to June 16. You may need to get a temporary license, but I'm not sure, and you have to do a catch report. Here's the link for all the info: Va. Saltwater regs
