Ethanol Fuel Fight
I know most of you from the Northern areas are not directly affected by this, but I thought it may be of some interest to you. The website is http://petelandrysrealgas.com/
He is taking on a crusade to try and fight the manufacture of the ethanol fuel blends, perhaps we may all be able to help in some way. I really hate this ethanol gas and would like to see our options expanded to have a choice in the matter. Thanks ,
TODAY’S NEWS ARTICLE
Today I posted an ethanol article from Fuel Fix titled “EPA Sends Biofuel Mandates to White House“. You may recall that I posted articles several times earlier in the year that the EPA in November, 2013 announced they were considering reducing the volume of ethanol to be blended into gasoline by 3 billion gallons in 2014. The process required that the EPA post the proposal in the Federal Register and allow 90 days for comments. They received over 340,000 comments. Now, over 9 months late, they just send their proposal to the White House for review and approval. The Congressional Budget Office must also review and ‘score’ it – estimate the cost. This process can take as long as 90 more days. So, it appears we will NOT see the final proposal until the end of the year. No matter which way the EPA proposal goes, it will surely result in lawsuits against the EPA. This issue is more POLITICAL than anything I’ve ever seen.
