I recently helped pull a man out of the drink for excessive speed malfunction ie. 18' /90 mph rig doing fly-bys took flight off a boat wake. Thankfully nobody was injured. I think he got complacent and forgot where he was for a moment, it only takes a second.
Conditions on lakes, rivers and near shore allow speed on ocassion but it is still inherently dangerous. A simple boat wake becomes a hazard with more speed. IDK about 70 or 75mph in a V-20, huge pucker factor. That much speed requires a lot of boat out of water. Would it fly straight when you do get it aired out? We may never know.. Anything over 50 needs to be approached with utmost respect, always. Wear the vest, attach the kill switch lanyard and have some boats there in case Mother Wellcraft decides you need a bath.
