UBHSTRY 06-07-2011 07:58 AM

Well spareparts, with a little luck, this weekend we will need to upgrade it to the 70MPH club :sun:

All in and subscribed.. Be careful.. 63MPH mine starts to chinewalk a bit. I need to loose some weight and work on my aero package if I am gonna keep up with the small block.. T-top and refrigerator for a console would be the first things to go then the 40 gallon livewell. Why do I feel like my top end number is a fixin to be crushed?? :hide:

Hehehe ridgerunner, we hit 60 with lots of room to spare, fully loaded with 2 250 pound guys, and my little 160 frame, full cooler, and full 60 gallons of gas.

Now I really am going to need to start looking for a 300 supermag. Let the horsepower wars begin.

RidgeRunner 06-07-2011 12:35 PM

Better dig deeper than the 300 supermag if you want to keep up with the 383 in hp and torque. But then the power to weight ratio kicks in at some point as does the limitation and drag of running a fully submerged lower like an I/O. If fuel were cheap a Shaun Torrente 375 Stroker. Basically a 3.0 liter Merc with a stroker crank, downdraft style intake with tight heads port timing and exhaust chest like the 300X, lightened flywheel, custom fuel and ignition curves. Simon Motorsports does something similar. It is only dollars (cubed).

Yall could go 100 mph if you put those mills on a boat designed to go fast......but I like how you are thinking.
