i had a 72 d100 van w slant 6 & 3 speed 120,000 miles in 4 years, no problems
bought another in 76, keep it 3 years & sold it to buy a 66 pu, kept it5 years, no problems. bought a 84 ranger, kept it 3 years, problems. bought a 85 dodge 1500 w 318, put 400,000 miles in 11 years (1 rebuilt motor, same tranny). bought a 95 dodge 1500 w 5.9 gasser, still drivin it today w 240,000 (same motor, diff tranny). inherited my dads 02 dakota last year w 65,000 miles and i do not think it will make it to 66,000. cheapest built, roughest riding, lousey gas mileage, no torque, most uncomfortable vehicle i have ever been in. |
