DODGE makes a good truck and powertrain, the reason they are so cheap is there interiors. The newer DODGE's are known for squeeks and rattles after they get some age on em, and this brings down the resale value.

X2 ... When I was shopping for a new truck for work, I looked at just about everything on the market. Since the boss was paying for it, money wasn't a real issue... I loved the Dodges, until I compared their interior to a GMC's.. the contrast was like day and night... cheap, flimsy for the Dodge, plush for the GMC.. and the price was close on both of them. I went with the GMC and never looked back. (I still like the Dodge trucks, their Cummins Diesel is hard to beat..but they really need to work on the interiors if they want to be a ranking company again). Oh, and BTW, their small block Hemi is now standard on the Dodge Dakota..Tons of power for that truck..makes towing a breeze.... but you must get 4x4, otherwise you'll just spin your rear tires all over the place.
