Play with the trim as said and keep something else in mind,
the best way between two points is not always the straightest. Where I boat I deal with a chop most of the time, sometimes down right nasty, especially in the afternoon with wind against tide. Try trim adjustment and speed adjustment but also try a different angle to the wind and or wave set, you will find the one that does not throw water into the wind in a manner as to send spray back at you.
