Nipper, the answer is an emphatic "YES" I did cook some taters. Well, actually I put that task off on Mrs. Blue while I made coarse chopped coleslaw and grilled up some "mini" burgers. She threw a curve ball at me in the process. She made some homemade tater "chips."

On the mini burger - instead of buying hamburger buns I bought dinner rolls and patted the patties a bit smaller than normal. I'm really sold on the mini burgers because I'm getting old and don't eat as much as I used to eat. This way I can eat 2 mini burgers instead of two whole ones and it is just the right amount. Plus the wife and kids like em that way too.

I've got the pics of the taters on my phone. Lord only knows how long it will take these pix to find their way onto here....I sure hope it ain't too long!!

Dont forget some fine ground pepper, and skip the ketsup, get yourself some A-1 steak sauce and oooh doggy, got yourself some fine sides. Better yet take them fries with salt and pepper and put some good brwon biscuit gravy right on top, goes best after a few beers and then with a Makers Mark Chaser

I bet you could put some gravy on a turd and it would taste good!

I ate some of the mini burgers the next day smothered in A-1. Love that stuff. They apparently know its good....A-1 is expensive.

Home Fries are the same as Home Boyz aka "Home Skillet" around these parts.

Sounds pretty good and kinda like the BBQ slaw you get around here at the BBQ restaurants. It is ketchup/vinegar based slaw w/ no mayo.

Nice! I wanted to plant taters this year but dad sold the tractor and all implements against my wishes. He owned this tractor for 10 years and we put 100 hours on it. He acted like we weren't getting any use out of it. Heck 10 hours is a long time sitting on a tractor. Just think of all you can do with a tractor in 10 hours! Well, he finally realized it so he bought another, better tractor, which was great. Problem is, now we have no implements....no plow, no box scrape, no bush hog, nuttin. My garden is nothing but weeds.
