Fillet, Ct, That looks exactly like the area where my batteries have been sitting. Some one posted about scuppers on another tread about making an inside plug. to keep the deck dry during fishing. Then pulling the plugs when they run to drain, which sounds good. That or a valve in each scupper line.
CT, My deck is also solid with no rot. It was just that trapped water. After 20 years of sand and crap clogged the manufactured holes. I also noticed that some of the woven on the stringers was split from the hull torking. These hulls are strong enough, I would'nt worry to much. I have a pickup tube through the bottom back of the hull that is for the makeshift live well I made that sits on the bracket. I put 5200 around the threads of the fitting and cranked down on a hose clamp. Doesnt leak at all.
