If you think it is bad now, let a democrat get into office. There first agenda is to add a 75 cent per gallon tax on to help pay for these socialized programs.

What happened to all those oil wells they capped off years ago because they said oil had to be over $60 a barrell to make it worth pumping them.

I'd say its time to start pumping again.

And if you think Exxon doesn't have enough dough to influence the next set of leaders, check their record profits they keep reporting, they can buy anyone they want, including anyone who comes up with a better, cheeper fuel.

Another way to lower fuel costs is to get rid of ethanol. Our current ethanol production methods uses around 1.2-1.3 gallons of diesel to grow, harvest and cultivate the materials and to get it to the manufacturing plant. Not to mention that it will only yield around 80-85% of the power potential of gas. So not only are we using more petroliem to make than what we produce, but were getting less efficiency when using it. All to make some tree huggers that don't know no better feel better.

A little ETHANOL humor.

Speaking of Ethanol, that is another bogus excuse for the rise of food prices.

The food price rise is totally manufactured.
There are wheat farmers that have no place to sell their wheat
because the millers are still sitting on last years stocks.
No, I am not making this up, I have farmer friends who are very close to the issue.

Oh yeah, we have more corn that we know what to do with also and
corn isn't the only material that can be used to make alcohol fuel.

I agree, not to mention all the farmers that get subsidies to NOT grow crops because we already are producing "too much" food. What the hell is wrong with the people we put in power???? I'll tell you, they are all lawyers, not businessmen. The reason why no "businessman" has ever run is because this business called our country has been controlled by socialist lawyers for too, too long and it is going to cost us Americans a helluva lot of money to fix it. Problem is, no one wants to hear it or work for it.... we "deserve" it. Just like everything else in this country that people think they "deserve" like cable tv in prison. It's all out of control. Get your gun permits and buy your ammo boys, we'll be looking at another revolution in the next 10-20 years. Mark my words.
