Anyone have any experience with the Hummingbird side looking sonar? It "sounds" like a slick deal to be able to see a picture of the structure, bottom, etc.

I had one, (I have a furuno now) I liked it fine very simple to use and did a good job. The side scan was neat but you really didn't have any use for it in large bodies of water. I didn't see where it showed the bottom any better than a conventional one. It did work great when you were in a creek or canal where the width of the canal or creek was no more than appx 50ft wide then it would show fish under underbrush in the water.

Mine broke and that's why I bought the Furuno.
