Do you have a another fuel / water seperator ? or is that all you are running for a filter?
If it is you need to make some updates my brother because that will not cut it.
I agree. Never seen a setup like that. The screen on the pickup tube inside the tank and the other filter on the motor should be enough to cover any particals in the fuel. Get rid of that auto filter.

Nice pics you got there Hammer, I won't comment on which are my favorite but nice pics any way.

As to your filter, I would say from the picture that it is installed backwards. Yes it will still allow flow but the dirt would be trapped inside and you cant see it as apposed to the other way if it is trapped on the outside you will be able to see if it is full and you have more area to collect the dirt allowing longer life from the filter.

I cant say for sure but I have heard that the paper elements will start to clog with the premix oil and staryve the engine and also seperate the oil from the gas to prevent proper lubeing.

Thanks, Turbin. We were hit by a large storm here yesturday, but I plan on yanking out and installing a new ball and without that tiny filter. Also gonna blow some air through the fuel line and through the vent line to make sure I dont have any gunk built up as well. ;)
