Default Re: Photos of my 84'

Merc recommends 4500 to 5000 R's but what I found when going to the larger prop was redused R's and increased mph. Do you think it will hurt the engine if I were to keep the prop with lower R's and higher mph.

I had to rebuild the trim motor a couple of week ago when my brothers came to visit and I found it would'nt work. My wife knows how I cant stand for something like this to happen "egg on the face", she asked me as we were heading to some last minute intertainment idea, how much a new motor cost. After telling her 7 or 8 Thousand she seemed she would intertain the idea of a new one next year (one small step for man and one giant leap for my kind of woman).

If I can get my ducks in a row by next year, there may be a tank full of low octane gas and oh my I forgot to add the oil, what will happen now!!

I really like older stuff as long as it don't cause to much trouble so I would hate to see the old gal meet her doom this way. Any ideas how to peacefully put her to sleep?
