Kracker:

How much head room do you have? From one of the photos you posted it looks to me like your going to have to remember to duck when you come out from under the new top, or that aft diagonal bar might just help you to remember next time?

Nice configuration with the live well.

KJ, I just looked at your post about rebuilding your V. I started at page 1 and followed the progress. What a fantastic job you did!! It really turned out great. It is nice to know that there are guys out there that have the ability and determination to do what you did. Hats off to you.

How does the Suzuki DF 140 perform. I had the same engine on a 20 ft. bay boat and it did a good job. If I were to repower I might consider that engine. I have a Suzuki DF 175 on a 22 ft. bay boat and it does a really nice job of moving that boat around. So I know that would be a great choice as well.

My personal opinion is its the perfect motor for our boats. Is freakin sips gas! Its almost scary its so economical. It has great torque and power. The hole shot is great. It pushes the boat beautifully when loaded down with gear and coolers. If i put another motor on it tomorrow it would be the new 150 suzuki.
