Mack I'm afraid Dan's gonna be right re that swim platform...and with the way the ladder retracts into it, notching it out might not be an option...
Here's the way I did mine on the 74... ![]() And had to do same on the 21... ![]() I still have the swim platform shown on the 74 in case you can use it... Good luck w/it and let us know what happens...but whatever you gotta do to get a set of tabs on, it'll be worth it fo sho!!

Thanks Reel for the offer, I will let you Guy's know how it all turns out. I did some mock up with cardboard its close very close. I am worried it will hit the Kicker when its it the up and lock position. Its schedule to be here on Friday.

I have a big set of tabs on my V20....the control lever went out...I never replaced it because the tabs really arent necessary...they dont do much for me... I just lock them in line with the hull....yeah you can get on a plane a little quicker but whats 5 seconds anyway

Big Mike that's a great segway for my question.
On my new '84 V I am debating whether to get tabs. I am using the boat primarily as a day cruiser a bit of fishing and some water skiing. Do you guys think I would benefit from trim tabs?
