ok. where can i get some ss tubing for a good price? used.in the ny/nj area? i'am by the outerbridge crossing.

check with a canvas shop. they ususally have the tubing and a bender for use in building boat tops and biminis

A friend of mine use to work for a boatbuilder and told me they packed the tube with sand and gently bent the tube. He said it kept it from kinking in the bend. Iv never tried it though!

Mike, you can get stainless steel tubing at the scrap yard on AK Road down by Killmyers. They also weld stainless there too. One of the owners was a boat owner also. I spoke with him the last time I was there. He helped me fashion up a stern tube for my last boat....saved me about $300.00. If you are not sure where it is, just ask Kenny down at Bentley.

Go to see an electrician. He will do a good job.
You will have to bring him 2 measures: First, what is the distance ( center to center ) beganning from the left to the rigth Second, From the outside of the pipe ( the nearest from of you when you facing the pipe ) to the fixations places. Ask him to do a back to back bend
