I am not even going to try to convince anyone that Central Indiana is the place to be. Flat, no water, lots of corn and soybeans. Definitely not a boater's paradise!

All right Stink Man, LA is definetly a sweet destination but I am going to NC. So if you please I need some info and advise from Carolina boys. Could save me a lot of running around and aggravation.

Willy, N.C. is a great choise. Northwest of the Outer Banks is Elizabeth City and east to Currituck and all areas around the Albemarle sound. Then south is Kittyhawk, Nags Head, Manteo (my daughter lives there) , Pea Island down to Hatteras and over to my personal favorite spot in the whole world, Ocracoke! Then you have Beaufort (another favorite), Emerald Isle, Alantic Beach, Morehead City and the list goes on and on! ALL are beautiful places on or surrounded by water, fresh or salt, and prices are down a bit now. Check us out ,we'd be glad ta have ya bro, come on down!

what insurance? i can't get any thanks to Clinton. after the 2 hurricanes of 96. Personally i would steer you clear of the Northern part of the NC coast. there is nothing up there and miles to any major city or airport. stay from Beaufort south if you go coastal. Willy email Linda Shingleton she's with Coastland Reality in Carteret County. She could send you some info on what is in that area. Plus she's not bad looking either.

Let Linda put her 25 years of experience and exceptional service to work for you. She will help you find the best value for your real estate investment dollars and have fun along the way.
My real estate career began in Kinston, North Carolina in 1983. Helping others has always been important to me. I loved helping buyers find that first home, helping growing families find larger homes. working with newcomers, and especially seniors sizing down or moving closer to family. I was among the top producers and also served as President of the Board of Realtors.
Emerald Isle has been part of my life since early childhood, which was during the ferry days. I grew up vacationing here; and as a teenager coming on the weekends. I knew one day I would live at the Beach. After marrying and having two children, we were able to buy a getaway at Emerald Isle. This was a dream come true. It's a great way to spend more time with your kids and meet their friends.
After my husband died in 1994 and my kids were on their own, I moved to Emerald Isle and started a new life and career with CENTURY 21 Coastland Realty, a great company and a great move for me. Working at the Beach is such a fun market. I love helping buyers find that perfect second home or just the right investment property. I especially love when customers come back to me or refer a friend or family member. What a compliment! My office wall display achievements and awards I have earned; my favorite are quality service awards and Centurion.
When I am not working, I'm playing. I like yoga, tennis, dancing, reading on the Beach, and I am the greatest grandma. My work has enabled me to meet so many people and make so many friends. I love what I do and also try to do my best. Let me put my best to work for you.

Willy, you're gonna be drivin' between NC and NJ...it's why I posted Kerr Lake...anywhere on the coast is gonna lengthen that commute considerably...there are other lakes inland as well

http://www.visithalifax.com/roanoke_rapids/fishing.php

scroll all the way down this site...Roanoke Rapids is right south of the VA/NC line and close to I-95...

Oh and you might wanna talk to these guys too

Willy:

If your going to live your considering living on the coast and communting to NJ - you better added a significant amount of time to your travel time to account for "summer" traffic getting off the outter banks. It's a real mess during the rental season. It's been improved, but there is still no "easy" way to get from the Outter Banks to the CCBT tunnel to run up Hwy 13.
