If it was mine, i'd find out what the previous owner has been running & continue that. 23 years on a VRO is a pretty good endorsement. most on here will tell you that hand grenade should have gone off 15 or 20 years ago...

BassPro usually runs a special in the spring that has the Penzoil Synthetic blend for $11.00 a gallon. Plan ahead and buy it on sale and it's the same price as Wally World oil.
I have used it for the last 3 years with no issues and I agree with Ferm it seems to smoke less than the other stuff. Kamikaze
