Default Re: Is a 1982 V20 cuddy with a Yam 4 stroke 115 ok

If the boat price is a good deal and the 115 cks. out. buy the boat and sell the 115 yammie 4 stroke its got great resale value. and now you have the controls and guages for yamaha, he probably upgraded those also. go get yourself a used ox66 or a hpdi at least 150hp. i know this sounds like more work but if it was easy everybody would do it...

Its the journey that makes it all worth it...

and 100 miles away is just a good road trip, heck your going to see a boat you may buy, have fun...

Default V20 with a 115

My 84 V20 has a 115 2 stroke and goes pretty well - about 33 (on the GPS) If I could swing it, I wouldn't mind a four stroke repower for the noise reduction.
