You may at this point consider removing the part of the top cap at the transom area this will allow you to "drop" in the new transom, see previous post on this site for pictures. At this point you just need to do it right way. As for securing the new transom don't hesitate to bolt two or more brackets to the stringers this will aid in overall support. Just re-do the transom with ply and glass it all together. This will allow you to really secure it to the boat. The Arjay and seacast was meant for you to pour into the previous skin, since yours is all gone just rebuild it using ply...

I agree. No pourable now. Traditional layup with coosa or ply is the plan now.
