I agree, not to mention all the farmers that get subsidies to NOT grow crops because we already are producing "too much" food. What the hell is wrong with the people we put in power???? I'll tell you, they are all lawyers, not businessmen. The reason why no "businessman" has ever run is because this business called our country has been controlled by socialist lawyers for too, too long and it is going to cost us Americans a helluva lot of money to fix it. Problem is, no one wants to hear it or work for it.... we "deserve" it. Just like everything else in this country that people think they "deserve" like cable tv in prison. It's all out of control. Get your gun permits and buy your ammo boys, we'll be looking at another revolution in the next 10-20 years. Mark my words.

and it won't be over gas or food, it is going to be fresh water.

Pennsylvania almost passed a law to meter the water
consumption of people with wells so they could tax us.
Luckily that was voted down.

Nipper a civil war happened once before. If it does I vote Willy the president of the confederacy. All hail president William.......

Wow guys, I agree with some of the things posted and disagree with others. The president may not be able to push a button and lower gas prices but he certainly could do MORE. What pisses me off is he and his family are in the oil business. Now that my friend, is a conflict of interest - BIG TIME! Just a couple of weeks ago he claimed he did not know gas prices were about to spike when questioned by a reporter.

P.S. Whoever that was that said they were gonna eat crow......better load up your shotgun bro.

Peace,
Blue

I think most of the politicans are so out of touch with realliaty due to the fact they have so much money, 5 bucks for a gallon of gas is nothing to them, they put it on a credit card and there accountant pays the bill at the end of month, they never see it so no big deal to them..................oh cocktails at the country club at 5 ish ...i'll be theredont forget to tell Muffy

The part in red pretty well sums it up. MOST lawyers don't seem to care about anything but themselves. Of course though most of them are tought to be soul less to survive the business, how else can they defend someone who is guilty so vigourously and with a straight face. And I don't for see it being 10-20 years before there is an uprising in this nation, but that's just me.

No my friend, Jimmy Carter was THE worst American President. The housing crisis we're in right now is due to him passing laws that MANDATE banks to give subprime loans due to "equal housing" . Not to mention he set us up for the situation we're in right now in the middle east. He made us weak in the eyes of the radical Muslims. Now they think they have a chance to beat us by driving us out of Iraq. And as far as weapons of mass destruction go, Syria is about a two hour trip from Iraq. We have video footage from when he used chemical weapons on his own people, so duh, he did have them. And I'm sure Syria has them now. You do realize that Isreal bombed the crap out of a site in Syria last fall right? I wonder why they did that????

I love the liberal line that Bush has raised the price of gas then they turn around and call him dumb. You would have to be pretty smart to figure out how to raise the price of oil all over the world. If he did cause oil to go up like someone here knows he did then why isn't Obama or Hillary using that as a platform to get elected into office. Heck, if they promised me they could lower the price close to what it was before he took office (thats fair sense Bush increased the prices) and could tell me how I'd vote for them. Bush offered a plain to drill for oil which has been shot down everytime and by who? I'm not the biggest fan of Bush but I'm not going to blame him for somethng that he is not responsable for and that goes for every president we have. I think its time we as Americans start to look at things as a group and not one side against the other and we need to demand that from our goverment. I'm not saying lets all join hands and sing songs but we need to move foward and stop attacking each other on every issue. Sure we have different opinions but I'm sure we also have more common ground on which things should work.
