drj,
I made a bow pulpit this winter out of African mahogany. I'll get the dimensions for ya when I get home tonight. I used the pictures of the starboard bow pulpits that others guys here have made as a guide. Afterwards I soaked it for three weeks in a tub of waterproofing deck treatment. Haven't had a chance to use it yet so I can't give any feedback on performance.

TH, you can mail that thing to me and I'll test it for you. Shouldn't take but a few decades to get back to you with a report.
