Looks great!! Why the over sized over hangs on the roof?? And why planking and not ply on them?

we are historical society and are trying to match existing house witch was built 1890 for a sea captain, and the tongue and grove on the over hangs is cause they will be painted also to match the house

Excellent work Lumber!!! The main part of my house was built in 1917and has 3 gable dormers with the same diamond windows. When I added on the 2 story garage I built a 24ft wide gable dormer on it to match the original structure. You're doing a fine job there buddy!! Really looks good!
