this is a job Iam just starting , its 5 blocks from the light house, very old house , Iam working on the detached garage which I believe was build in the late 50's early 60's

were putting a full second floor on it its going to have two baths kitchenette and 2 zonea of heat and one zone of air conditioning.and believe it or not theres going to be 25 windows in it oh and hardwood floors,,,,,,,

Blue , thats a new concrete footing , we cut a hole in the slab and dug it out 2 ft and added rebarb and filled it back in there going to be a 5 1/2 x 14 micro lam 24 ft long spanning the width of the garage with a standard lollie colum resting on the footing.

What did you use to cut the slab? I'm thinking of doing some additional supports.

we used a makita K saw with a 12 inch diamond blade.....cut that concrete like hot knife thu butter:sun:
