| Who's run a 4 blade prop on their V ?

I may be able to swap a guy for a 4 blade Merc Rev 4 17p. The deal would be right for me, cause its stuff I don't use anymore, and I can't beat the price. The Rev 4 is supposed to b e a great 4 blade prop from what I've read. Anybody have any 4 blade experience? Thanks,

I run a 4 blade SS prop on my 2000 Merc 150 hp. It's the same one I ran on my 1985 Merc 150. I have clocked by GPS 44.6 MPH w/ two people and a full tank of fuel. The hole shot is much better that my three blade spare prop. Your top end may not be as good, but I do like the hole shot. It's a 17" pitch. Hope that helps.

I've ran them on other boats and you will get a better grab in turns , you can raise the motor a notch or jack plate it but for a V-20 I dont think it would make that much difference as its a v hull...I see a lot of flats boats running them in very shallow water....Frank
