When I rebuilt the motor 12 years ago I put a 700r4 trans behind it and went from 11 mpg no matter what to 18 to 20 mpg on the highway.

Nothing sounds better than glass packs and a Q-Jet with the breather lid flipped........ WIDE OPEN!
