It will go back in my 72 Chevy PU...I dont drive it much and recently one of the cam lobes failed...sending metal shavings through the motor. Scratched up the rod journals pretty bad so it will need to be turned. Figured it best to tank everythimg to get all the shavings out.

I had a 70 chevy c10 with a 307 ....my favorite truck of all.

I had a '71 C20 4X4 with the 350 and I think that was one of my favorites too.

It's the two large holes in the top of the intake that scare me...but on the other hand, they're the most FUN too!!...:drool:

Supposedly you can get good mpg if you never gas it enough to open the secondaries.

I wouldn't know...

When I rebuilt the motor 12 years ago I put a 700r4 trans behind it and went from 11 mpg no matter what to 18 to 20 mpg on the highway.

Nothing sounds better than glass packs and a Q-Jet with the breather lid flipped........ WIDE OPEN!

it doesn't look this good any more, its in need of a redo. My 13 year old daughter has claimed it as her's. i told her to bring me a four year scholarship after she graduates high school to any university and its her's. To give you a hint, she asked about painting it garnet and putting a big chicken on the hood
