being a finance and economics major im so sick and tired of people blaming the president for high gas prices. come on do you honestly think one person has enough power to controll the price of somthing that is traded on a futures market. yes predicting prices sounds crazy doesnt it. also how does someone expect to get crude cheap from over seas when it takes 1.60 dollars us to make 1 euro dollar. think about it if it were a 1:1 like it was in the 90's we would be paying 75 a barrel. wow gas would be under 2.75 a gallon. now if we would start using only our oil and not the foreign crap then you would see a price drop. hate W for what ever reason you want, trust me i sat that last two elections out becuase i didnt want to vote for him. its more than meets the eye.
