3-2-08 Fishing Report

Well, it was warm and still this afternoon, and after all the vehicle maintenance was done, it was time for a shakedown.

Launched the boat around 1:30. As I was backing away from the dock, it felt like I'd never driven a boat before. Funny, when you cross your hydraulic lines in your new steering system, that danged boat steers backwards.

Everything ran smooooth like butter. Steering felt great, just had to turn the other way By raising my motor two holes, I picked up .5 mpg on cruise, and that will be so nice for this year.

I fished for about 10 minutes just to say that I did it. No fish were harmed today.

Felt really good to be back on the high seas again
